Natalie
Morgan
Wall
PETERSEN

I love this girl! She really is like a daughter to me :) and today, oops yesterday cuz it is after midnight was her 19th birthesday!! Natalie will love that I am up at 1 am writing this cuz we can sometimes both be insomniacs.

Nat and brit have been friends since 9th grade and they were pommies together all through high school. That means that they spent MUCHO time together! That means that they shared BAJILLION's of secrets with each other and of course with me too! Cuz Nat caught on early that I was a COOL mom like that :) hahah

I appreciate Natalie because she has not only been a good friend to my daughter, but she also treats me well. I love teenagers. Really! Especially ones who TALK to me and share a little of their life with me. That would be Nat!!

OK so in honor of her 19 years, I will share 19 facts and feelings I have about Natalie the GREAT...

.
1. We have more pictures on our computer of Natalie than any other friend of Brits. Waaayyyyyyy more. and that is A LOT a lot A LOT of pictures!!

I'm trusting you Natalie Morgan to keep our secrets!

10. She joined the church in August and I have seen AMAZING changes in her. She's like soooo spiritual and stuff!!

M. F. E. O.

M. F. E. O.
MADE. FOR. EACH. OTHER.
I believe these two are made for each other!
OK so I posted about britney's engagement and now i wanted to share some of my feelings about the engagement and Jesse :]
Through both words and pictures! (I had fun taking this photo shoot in Cali)

About a year ago, I made a comment something like this...

"I can't believe so many young girls are getting married shortly after high school, and they have not even dated very long. What is with this. I just don't get it!"

Well... NOW I GET IT!!
Seriously, It has now happened to my own daughter and YES it took us all by surprise but I really "get it". I even had a verrry goood idea that it would happen too after ONLY a couple of weeks of them being together. How sick is that? (by the way... they met in October, engaged in March and marry in June.) They had an instant connection and it developed and grew quickly. I have learned that when it is right, it is right and I know that this is right.

I have never seen Britney happier and more herself and she has even seemed to become a better person in so many ways. And her love for Jesse is so evident.

I just spent a week in Newport with them and I can witness first hand what an amazing connection there is between these two and the bond and communication that they have is AMAZING. I am so impressed with "my future son in law"

What a great feeling as a parent to see someone love and adore your child as he does her.
He treats Britney so good. He ALWAYS puts her first, he would do ANYTHING for her. If I was asked to make the perfect man for Britney I don't think I could get closer of a match than Jesse. He has ALL the qualities that are important to Britney and more!
and...He fits in with our family amazingly well!!

So Yes I may have some sad moments thinking of my daughter growing up so fast but I am SOOO happy for the two of them to begin their life together. I am happy to gain a Son, and I am grateful that they have found so much happiness together.
.
Elder Wirthlin said "Come what may and love it".
Well I am going to plan a wedding and "come what June and embrace it".
.
The date is June 12th in the Mesa Temple. :]
PS. They both have CUTE feet! :)

MY BABY IS GETTING MARRIED!

"THE RING"

Well, it is finally official. Britney is engaged! We knew it was coming and finally it happened! Jesse has been carrying the ring around for 10 days waiting for the perfect scenario. That time would be on our spring break trip to Newport!

I will refer you to brit's blog for the whole story on the proposal. Karen, (Jesse's mom) and I followed the two around all day taking pictures as Jesse took Brit on an adventure making her wait about another 6-7 hours to get the RING. He wrote her notes and poems and gave her a gift of jewelry at different points throughout the day. Although brit LOVED the gifts, she was getting pretty anxious for that engagement ring! It was a very sweet and romantic day for the two of them and i seriously have never seen them soo happy!

Brit BEFORE the ring. She just got this cute outfit the day before to see her sweetie in.
He loves orange and they hadn't seen each other in over a day!!!

Yay! they finally got to see each other!
They were so happy.
This is where their adventure began. He made her wait 7 more hours to get the ring!
(although she scored a necklace, watch, earrings and flowers in this process hahah)

This is the picnic waiting for them with sparkling cider, and chocolate covered strawberries.

The "happy couple" in the flower fields

HAPPY BIRTHDAY KIRT

On Birthdays around our house, I always make a poster for the Birthday honoree. Here is Kirt's this year. I was a little lazy and used the template that I made for Brit's birthday one week earlier.
...
Being that Kirt's Birthday falls the day before valentines, I felt the KISS to be rather appropriate! ; ) Just wanted to give a SHOUT OUT to Kirt!
Brit and I love him to pieces and we were glad to celebrate his birthday this month :] We kept it a little low key this year. Went to dinner at Famous Daves with Brit & Jess, then came home and enjoyed "home made from scratch" German Chocolate cake which is his FAVORITE! (DANG! No pictures!) April and James came in from Utah that night so they enjoyed cake with us and we chilled and LAUGHED and visited.
I have already posted about so many of his awesome qualities so we (Brit & I) just want to share some of our favorite things we ENJOY with Kirt.

HIS LAUGH! When he finds something really funny and starts laughing, we wonder if he will ever be able to catch a breath or stop laughing at all. Then we cannot help but join in, and seriously this can go on for some time. It is a privilege to laugh with this guy. Soooo FUN! :D

ROAD TRIPS! Kirt is so fun to travel with. He LOVES to drive so his girls never have to (spoiled) and he is always HAPPY and SILLY in the car. We tend to LAUGH alot on road trips!

WATCHING MOVIES! He watches chick flicks with us on Sundays!

WORKING TOGETHER! We love our afternoons all together at "Cabinet Connection" :)

COOKING TOGETHER! We cook alot of meals TOGETHER! and then Kirt spoils his girls by cooking breakfast for us on Sundays!

WATCHING SPORTS! we enjoy all of our home teams on TV and going to Suns games with Kirt.

WOW! We keep getting older and I can say that Kirt has been the love of my life for two-thirds of mine and his life!!! (You do the math)

My Baby's last year as a TEENAGER!

OH MY GOSH!
I have so much to blog but I just can't get myself to do it.
Been a little busy and once you get behind,
it is hard to catch up.
... I will catch up ;)

But for now... All I am going to say is...

"Daughters are little girls who
GROW UP to be your BEST friend"
and

MY BABY GIRL JUST TURNED 19!!

W O W I FEEL OLD!

I called some of her friends to meet us in the afternoon and we went and saw "He's Just Not That Into You". Then we came back to our house for dinner and dessert. Jesse then joined us and he and Kirt got in on some pretty intense girl talk. It was a fun day though and I think Brit had a Happy day. I started making her a scrap book of her 1st 19 years of life. Little did I know that this would be a six month project if I wanted to do it right so basically I have just begun... and I must add that pictures and photo technology has come a LONG way since 19 years ago. wow.

I have had so much fun with Brit lately and I am so grateful for her and her friendship and that we can enjoy girlfriend things as well as be mother/daughter.

HaPPY BiRTHDaY to BRiT!!

Thanks for 19 F A B U L O U S years!

“PRINCESS WIFE”

OK I just got back from 10 fabulous days in Florida with my 3 sisters.
[ I will soon blog about the trip when I get pics and my act together…]

Heres the deal…

I missed my husband!
While I saw many Disney Princesses in Florida, I came home realizing more than ever that I am a princess…

A PRINCESS WIFE!!

Although I had another ride home from the airport, “MY HUSBAND” WANTED to pick me up himself so we could have 25 extra minutes in the car alone, and he could take care of my luggage for me, and we could “talk” about it all. I must mention that “MY HUSBAND” looked especially HOT to me and he had a smile and sweetness about him that I totally adore!! As I hugged and said my goodbyes to my sisters I couldn’t help but feel like a “PRINCESS WIFE” as “MY HUSBAND” took me away in the red Yukon.

The next day, I got to go to work with “MY HUSBAND”! 2:00 rolls around and “MY HUSBAND” says, “Hey it’s happy hour. I will be back with your diet coke in a few minutes!” YUP!... “PRINCESS WIFE”

At 6:00 when we decided to leave work, I get in my car and realize that my gas tank is on empty. “MY HUSBAND” says “Drive to the gas station and I will meet you there and fill it up for you.” So he drives his truck which doesn’t need gas, parks it and comes over to put gas in my car for me. I sat in my car while he was serving me and thought…

WOW…. “PRINCESS WIFE”

Now I am perfectly capable of doing these things on my own, but I must admit that I do enjoy being a “PRINCESS WIFE” .

Flowers, cards and gifts can be great but I love that “MY HUSBAND” likes to SERVE me and make me feel SPECIAL. He actually makes me feel like he ENJOYS doing those things for me that make me feel like a “PRINCESS WIFE”

A few of my favorites are…

“MY HUSBAND” won’t ever let me bring in groceries… that is HIS job. “MY HUSBAND” ALWAYS picks up my meds for me. “MY HUSBAND” loves to make me drinks at home and makes sure they are just right with the perfect amount of crushed ice. …and at QT he runs in and makes me the “perfect drink” while I listen to music in the car! “MY HUSBAND” is ALWAYS willing to watch MY choice of movie. “MY HUSBAND” is ALWAYS willing to run an errand for me. OR he will drive me there and WAIT for me. "MY HUSBAND" removes my toenail polish FOR ME!
“MY HUSBAND” will teach our Sunday School lessen for me when it is MY turn and I am a little stressed over another event. When “MY HUSBAND” helps me with a project, he will go out of his comfort zone and put extra care into it to make sure he does it “just how I would like it”

YES, I love “MY HUSBAND”
